About Myself
My Story
I am a licensed and certified massage therapist and sole proprietor of The Healing Element, located in downtown Marblehead Ma, practicing the art and science of therapeutic massage and energetic bodywork for more than 15 years. Through my training as a manual therapist, coupled with an understanding of body-centered psychotherapy, I am an empathetic partner helping my clients heal from physical pain due to illness or injury and emotional pain/trauma.
My approach to healing is in recognizing the mind and body work together in creating the health of all of its systems.
All energetic bodywork involves initiating the body's own natural healing response to the physical and emotional triggers caused by everyday life stresses. I am able to gently locate and inactivate stubborn pain points within the body's tissues to create significant improvement in even the most longstanding conditions. Chronic pain is most always present in the emotional body.
Trigger Point Therapy
The most common cause of musculoskeletal pain is myofascial trigger points. Locating and inactivating these points will address the source of pain, which often presents itself elsewhere in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
With Deep Tissue Massage your body and mind will feel free and clear of all worries and stressors that life places upon us. I’m trained in a variety of holistic techniques that will surely help to balance you both mentally and physically.
Reflexology
With my Reflexology therapy, patients feel relaxed and renewed as I tailor your session to work on your specific goals and needs. Just a few minutes can make an enormous difference to your health and well-being.
Mission

My mission is to offer my clients an alternative to the world of conventional medicine. Through a variety of treatments as well as counseling services that are part of every single session, I manage to unlock the potential of self-healing in each patient. I can joyfully say that many of them return to seek follow-up care with a holistic approach rather than relying solely on traditional medical treatments to manage their discomfort.
